Covid-19 – Latest Travel Advice from Archipelago Choice – 17th March 2020
The word ‘normality’ has a strange ring to it and we now find ourselves in a world where the rules we normally live by change on a daily basis. However, there is one aspect of ‘normality’ at Archipelago Choice that hasn’t changed. Our ‘normal’ is that we’re still on hand to help and support the people who travel with us and our colleagues overseas.
We’re not quite sure where the next few months will take us, but what is certain is that nobody will be travelling for the next 30 days and I would imagine this will gradually extend to the following 30 days.
The questions we’ll ask ourselves are likely to be about things we’ve never thought about before. Do I work at home? How do I keep safe? Will the NHS manage? These questions will be answered over time and at Archipelago Choice we have taken the view that we should focus on the immediate and not second guess what things might look like in the future.
We’re follow the latest Foreign and Commonwealth Organisation (FCO advice ) and the World Health Organisation (WHO) advice and will act accordingly.
If you were booked to travel with Archipelago Choice between the 17th March and 16th April (and have not already heard from us), then we’ll be in touch by phone or email regarding re-booking or making a travel insurance claim.
If you are booked to travel after the 16th April then we’ll be in touch as/when the FCO travel advice changes. However, if you would like to preempt any new FCO advice and change your travel dates to later this year or 2021 then please call or email us:
