This beautiful eco-resort is situated south of Porto Alegre. The twelve delightful en-suite wooden bungalows on stilts are situated on a small section of a pristine beach in a lush tropical environment. No A/C, but there are ceiling fans and you can sleep with windows open as all have mosquito nets.
The lodge offers a mangrove trip in a dugout canoe, a walk up the hill to the old Soviet wireless station, turtle watching, and a day trip to Rolas. The restaurant overlooks the beach, and is open sided with a bar on one side and a restaurant on the other.
On the southern point of São Tomé
Various activities including guided walks, kayaking, surfing, snorkelling, diving and fishing trips can be booked. Don't forget your binoculars when you are going on the Malanza mangrove trip in a dugout canoe, as there will be plenty of birds to spot during this trip.
